Who we are
R Hegarty, a sole trader trading as Inflatable Pub Hire, is responsible for the personal information used to run this hire business and inflatablepubhire.com.
Contact: info@inflatablepubhire.com; 07575 391935; R Hegarty, Inflatable Pub Hire, 55B Severn Road, Weston-super-Mare, BS23 1DR, United Kingdom. This is a delivery base, not a customer walk-in premises.
Information and purposes
When you enquire, book or create an account, we collect the details you provide: name, contact details, billing and delivery addresses, hire dates, chosen products, booking requirements and messages. The store holds order, part-payment, balance and payment-reference information. Website services also receive technical information such as IP address, browser, device and session information.
We use booking information to answer enquiries, quote, arrange delivery and setup, provide hires, administer payments and send service messages. The basis is taking steps at your request before a contract or performing our contract with you. Required accounting records are kept to meet legal obligations. Proportionate security, fraud prevention, business administration and dealing with claims rely on legitimate interests. Optional analytics, embedded services and marketing technology are subject to your website consent choices. Without necessary contact and delivery details we may be unable to provide a hire.
Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your booking.
Where information is held and who receives it
We use the website, business email and WhatsApp for customer enquiries and booking administration. Our own team handles delivery and setup and receives relevant details for that work. We do not use additional customer spreadsheets or send bookings to outside delivery firms. We also use Google Calendar for the booking and delivery diary. Existing diary entries may include details from booking confirmations. New automated diary entries use the order reference, equipment, quantities and hire dates; they do not add customer contact details or payment amounts.
Hostinger supplies hosting, backups, business email and authenticated website email delivery. WordPress, WooCommerce, booking and part-payment plugins administer the shop. Jetpack/Automattic supplies connected website services. Google Analytics measures website use when permitted; Google Maps and YouTube supply embedded content. Our Facebook feed loads when requested and subject to the website’s optional-content controls. Clicking an external WhatsApp, social or other website link takes you to that provider, whose own privacy notice applies.
WooPayments uses Stripe infrastructure for online payments. Klarna is offered where available and makes its own payment and eligibility decisions. Payment providers receive the payment and order information needed for their services, security and fraud checks. We retain payment references and limited card information, not full card numbers or security codes.
Pub In My Garden visualiser
The optional Pub In My Garden visualiser has its own privacy notice. It receives the email address, postcode, selected pub, enquiry reference, consent choices and garden photographs you submit. Enquiry details are sent to our business email; garden and preview images are available through the private visualiser administration rather than being attached to that email.
The normal interactive preview does not use an external AI service. If you request the optional realism feature, a reduced composed image and a pub reference image may be sent to Cloudflare Workers AI, the currently configured provider. The visualiser’s own notice describes its photo handling and image-retention arrangements. Please avoid uploading identifiable people or information unnecessary for a garden layout preview.
Relevant information may also be disclosed where a legal requirement or a dispute makes disclosure necessary. Installed software alone does not mean all its optional cloud services are connected.
Marketing
We do not run regular marketing email or text campaigns. We have used Hostinger Reach for occasional campaigns. Booking and delivery messages are service communications.
Before sending any further promotional campaign, we will check the applicable permission and electronic marketing rules. Booking alone does not automatically give permission for every type of marketing. You can object using a campaign’s unsubscribe link or by emailing info@inflatablepubhire.com. We keep the minimum information needed to respect an opt-out.
Cookies and your choices
Essential basket, checkout, account, security and consent-choice technology is used to provide functions you request. The Privacy choices control lets you accept or reject optional preferences, statistics and marketing, and change your choice later. Rejecting optional technology does not prevent browsing or using the basket and checkout.
Jetpack statistics, Hostinger Reach and supported optional scripts are held back when their consent category is rejected. Embedded content may also require a choice. Google Consent Mode receives the choice through Site Kit and WP Consent API. Google tags may still load and send limited measurements without analytics or advertising storage permission; rejecting cookies is not a promise that no network connection to Google occurs.
Cookie lifetimes and service descriptions belong in the accompanying cookie notice. You can also remove cookies through your browser. Existing cookies from earlier visits may remain until removed or expired; preventing new optional use does not necessarily erase old cookies.
How long we keep information
- Review enquiries that did not become bookings after 12 months from last contact, removing information no longer needed unless an active enquiry, complaint or claim requires it.
- Keep necessary Self Assessment booking and accounting records for at least five years after the relevant 31 January filing deadline; longer where a legal obligation or unresolved matter requires it.
- Review inactive customer accounts after 24 months, preserving active hires, balances and required accounting or claims records.
- Keep necessary marketing permission evidence and a minimal opt-out suppression record; do not routinely erase the information needed to prevent further unwanted marketing.
- Review diagnostic and security logs after 90 days, retaining relevant incident evidence longer where needed. Provider-controlled logs and backups follow the relevant provider’s arrangements.
These are review criteria rather than automatic deletion promises. No automated deletion of orders, bookings or payment records is enabled.
International processing
Hostinger currently shows this website’s server in the United Kingdom and backups in Germany. Other provider services and support may involve processing outside the UK, including the United States. Their current notices describe international processing and the relevant transfer arrangements. Hostinger’s data processing addendum provides for a UK transfer addendum where applicable; Stripe’s agreement incorporates its transfer addendum. Automattic and Google describe their protections in their notices. Contact us for information about the arrangements relevant to your data.
Provider notices: Hostinger, Stripe, Automattic, Google, Cloudflare, WhatsApp, Klarna.
Your rights and complaints
Depending on the circumstances, you may ask to access or correct information, request deletion or restriction, object to a use, request portability, or withdraw consent. Rights have limits, including where required accounting or claims records must be retained. Contact us using the details above; we may request proportionate information to verify your identity.
To make a data protection complaint, email info@inflatablepubhire.com or write to the postal address above, describing your concern. We will acknowledge a complaint within 30 days, investigate without undue delay, keep you informed and explain the outcome. This acknowledgement period is separate from the applicable time limit for a data-rights request. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Changes
We will date material revisions and keep the current notice available on this website.
